Some Halloween non-sense

(Esta historia fue escrita a finales del mes de Octubre del 2009.  Hago referencia a varios eventos ocurridos durante ese año. La explosión de Caribbean Petroleum, el Paro Nacional contra la Ley 7 y la masacre de Toa Baja del 2009. Aparte de lo que el narrador de la historia a continuación nos quiera hacer creer ninguno de esos eventos esta realmente relacionados.)
 
October 28, 2009:

People just don't notice. You see, someone is working some big bad-ass spell right here in Puerto Rico, but if you tell the locals they just laugh at you.

Back in England, I remember reading about how you could bring back and bind a demon of Greed. Yet is not something a person can do with ease and most of the time when you read that stuff you just think is fiction and a joke.

But All Hallows Eve is coming and not only this represent the end of the Harvest, this time the Harvest is at the end of the week. This also the last Halloween of the decade (get it the last Harvest of the decade). Lot of finality there. And Power.

Orion is going to be right on top of San Juan at midnight during All Hallows Eve week. The Hunter will be watching and whoever is casting this stuff just have the greedy bastard in his side.

And the rest? You have over a 100k people gathered in the local Mamon temple (Plaza Las Americas). That's a lot of people and their presence ended up sacrificing a lot of money to that ancient god.

Then you have 8 ritual sacrifices. I know, the news says it was a massacre but check this out, the killing where done while a new store was being inaugurated and once again it was done close to midnight. Money was spent and money was lost. Ain't 8 a nice number. There are 8 Sabbaths after all.

Then there is the big fire. Again it happens close to midnight. No life were lost but a lot of fear was feed to some entity no doubt about it. It also create a sacrifice for the demon of greed. You see lot of money was lost and lot of money was spend in fear.

The book I read said that to summon the creature you needed to do all that stuff at the same time (the congregation, the sacrifice, the fire). There was something else, another piece of the ritual that I rather not think about it.

Because if they manage to link all those unconnected effects and they pull off that last travesty...Lovercraft had it easy I tell you.

I must leave this place before All Hallows Eve.
